Description
Amendment to Synopsis/Solicitation N68335-05-R-0111-Extreme Light Weight/Light Duty Mat System The following corrections apply: Under the Heading SURFACE PROPERTIES, paragraph (b) should read: (b) Any intermediate packaging shall be suitable for stacking on an ISO flatrack with external dimensions of 8’W x 8.5’H x 20’. Under NORMAL AMBIENT CONDITIONS, the first sentence should read: The mat system shall be capable of beinf assembled/disassembled in an ambient temperature range of -20°F to 130°F and a ground surface temperature of -60°F to 170°F. Under ADVERSE AMBIENT CONDITIONS, paragraph (a) should read: (a) the mat system shall be capable of being assembled/disassembled in any combination of the following conditions: (1) Poor Lighting (0.02 ft-candle), (2) High Winds (50 knots), (3) Low Temperatures (-20°F), (4) High Humidity (100%), (5) Rain and Snow, (6) Sleet and Freezing Rain, (7) Sand Storms. Where the size of the product Sample is referenced it should be corrected to read: Your sample must be large enough to construct a 100’ x 100’ Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) Pad. In the last paragraph of the Synopsis/Solicitation, once you go to the NAVAIR homepage select (click on) “Doing Business, click on “Open Solicitations”, and look for Synopsis/Solicitation N68335-05-R-0111.
