Description
The following questions and answers are provided for clarification: 1. Who is responsible for DITSCAP? THE GOVERNMENT Is it necessary to price support for DITSCAP in the proposal? NO - 2. Is there a requirement to interface with the switch providing commercial phone lines to the base (eg base housing)? NO, ONLY THE AV AYA G3R - 3. Will there be a JITC certified switch supporting the PSAP? NO - 4. Is the Government responsible for providing all network connectivity between sites? YES - 5.Are TDD devices (eg Zetron 3030) available at each position or do they need to be quoted? NO - 6. Will adequate power and air conditioning be provided by the Government based on contractor requirements? YES - 7. Is the E911 system map based providing E911 event locations to be displayed on the map? NO - 8. Does the E911 syst em require interfacing to alarm systems or other type sensors ( i.e. CCTV, ICIDS, CBRN)? YES - 9. The system must have future upgrade capability, specifically the ability to add remote portable consoles. Are the remote consoles dispatch workstations YE S or mobile data terminals? YES - 10. Are all the basis extensins numbers DID numbers? YES - 11. Is it your intention to have a unified user interface (headset or handset) for radio & telephony audio? HANDSETS - 12. Do you require JITC interoper ability requirements? NO - 13. How many 911 trunks? 3 - 14. How many ALI Data Ports? N/A ALI INFORMATION WILL RESIDE AT CENTURYTELS PSAP. - 15. Is the E911 System for Fort McCoy only? Does it receive calls from Tomah as well? NO CENTURYT EL WILL PROVISION ALL APPROPRIATE SPARTA CALLS TO HAVE THE PSAP FORWARD THOSE CALLS TO FORT MCCOY. - 16. How many channels require recording? 3 - 17. Are any radio channels required? If so, how many? NO - 18. Are there alarms in the current system ? NO. Do you want them integrated in the new system? NO - 19. Will Fort McCoy become a PSAP? NO - 20. Will Fort McCoy maintain ANI/ALI data? YES - 21. Will the ANI/ALI data be located at Fort McCoy? YES - 22. Will all 911 calls come to the ne w position including base housing, Government Buildings, and commercial locations? YES - 23. Are remote call takers planned now? NO. Will the remote centers be VOIP? N/A - 24. How do you intend to handle Avaya Extension 911 calls by a. PRI to pu blic network with CLID from AVAYA and converted to ANI? NO. b. Outbound CMA trunk from AVAYA with DID converted to ANI? YES. c. PRI to new Bldg 1760 E911 System with CLID? NO - 25. Will Fort McCoy get an ESN? YES - 26. Will Fort McCoy get cellular calls directly? NO. THE INITIAL FIELDING WILL HAVE ALL WIRELESS CALLS BE INITIALLY ROUTED TO MONROE COUNTY. MONROE COUNTY WILL SCREEN CALLS AND THEN FORWARD CALLS WITHIN FORT MCCOYS JURISDICTION TO THE E911 SYSTEM. FORT MCCOY REQUIRES THE CAPABILITY TO IMPLEMENT WIRELESS 911 IN THE FUTURE. a. Need to be Phase II comliant? YES - 27. Do the dispatchers need direct extension appearances of AVAYA DN (Directory Numbers) for ring-down circuits or other extensions? YES - 28. How ma ny radio frequencies do you have? 2 - 29. Do you need any call statistics? YES. Reports? YES - 30. How do you intend to maintain or update the ALI database? FORT MCCOY WILL WORK DIRECTLY WITH CENTURYTEL TO UPDATE THE ALIS AS REQUIRED . - 31. Do you intend to use a PS-ALI approach where your AVAYA extensions are incorporated into the MSAG database? YES - 32. Does the Avaya PBX have ASA? NO - 33. Do 911 calls need to be transferred to the Public PSAP? YES - 34. Is it your intension to cohabitate current radio operations with phone operations on one PC/position? 3 POSITIONS - 35. Will there be a radio integration requirement? YES. What is it? MOTOROLA. Any plans to replace? NO. Is it a P25 trunked radio system? NO - 36. Do you have a CAD system? NO - 37. Who is responsible for the connectiv ity from the G3R to the facility? THE GOVERNMENT - 38. Who is going to provision the service? CENTURYTEL - 39. Is there a conferencing requirement? YES, BETWEEN OUR DISPATCH AND MONROE COUNTY - 40. Do you have a cama converter? NO - 41. Who is supplying CSU/DSU's? THE GOVERNMENT - 42. How far is G3R and who will provide external connection? APPROXIMATELY 3000 FEET THE G3R WILL NOT CONNECT DIRECTLY TO THE E911 SYSTEM. IT WILL CONNECT TO THE PSAP (CENTURYTEL OWNED AND OPERATED) WH ICH WILL CONNECT TO THE E911 SYSTEM VIA A DEDICATED TRUNKS. - 43. Is there copper cabling along with fiber between the position and the G3R? N/A. THE EXISTING 911 SYSTEM IS SIMPLY A CALLER-ID TELEPHONE SYSTEM. - 44. Do you receive 911 calls from other lines then from the PBX? NO Do you want to with the new system? YES - 45. How many calls per day or year? 9000 PER YEAR - 46. What type of trunking between the PBX and the C.O?. Do you have ISDN. PRI., and what type of ISDN switch? N/A THE PBX IS IN THE FT MCCOY C.O. - 47. Is the County Phase II for Wireless? NOT YET - 48. Recording requirements, Will it all be archieved for all time or only for a specified period of time?
