- The Department of Justice, using Simplified Acquisiton Procedures, FAR Part 13 and authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, intends to issue a firm fixed price sole-source Purchase Order to Joyce Brewer, in the Washington, DC vicinity, to provide technical support services to recommend/perform an approach to the design, development, testing and implementation of various financial applications on the PC/LAN and Mainframe platforms inerfacing to FMIS in the Teradata environment. The work consists of maintenance, user support, redesign and enhancement of a system module. Ms. Brewer is uniquely qualified with detailed knowledge of the FMIS, the processes supported by the Debt Collection Management Module, the actual code comprising the modules, the multitude of modules supporting the payment, accounting and management reporting activities which comprise the services provided to the other organizations by the Finance Staff. Responses received as a result of this notice of intent shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses will not be considered as either proposal or quotations. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based upon the written responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Not solicitation is offered.
