Description
The Architect of the Capitol is soliciting proposals to replace three (3) individual directory signs 47?w X 63?h that use plastic changeable letters with pairs of Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) monitors controlled by a remote workstation via the Local Area Network (LAN), and to provide one additional (1) pair of LCD monitors which will be installed near the existing workstation. The directory sign will display Senator information, events of the day and special messages. The LCDs will display the information as text and/or as graphics. Sixteen additional pairs of monitors may be procured if funds become available. The Contractor shall provide a complete system of large (35? or greater) LCD monitors, a dedicated local computer to each monitor, a central server if purchased, and software that enables a user to change information displayed on the monitors from an existing workstation. The Contractor shall provide services to initially setup the system and provide operation and maintenance training. The AOC will provide all installation services, LAN connectivity and power to each sign location. Award will be made based on Best Value Tradeoff Process.
