- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in far subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation (HC1021-05-T-2074) is being issued by the Defense Information Technologies Contracting Organization, Unit 4235 Box 143, APO AE 09142 or Heuberg 143, Sembach Germany 67681. This solicitation is a Request For Quote (RFQ). (iii) The RFQ document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-24 and Defense Change Notice 20040625. (iv) The resultant sole-source contract will be 100% set aside for L-3 Communications, a large business, who is the manufacturer and sole known reseller of the Secure Terminal Equipment required by the Airforce. NAICS 334220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment. Size Standard is 750 Employees. (v)(vi) Description of requirement: the government has a requirement for secure terminal equipment (STE) CLIN 0001, IP STE BACKFIT KIT, QTY 25, CLIN 0002 STE RC FNBDT (CEU MODULE), QTY 27,CLIN 0003 STE FNBDT OFFICE (ISDN/PSTN), QTY 111. CLIN 0004 SHIPPING AND HANDLING, F.o.b. destination to: German Postal System Address, GEB 404 Zimmer 6, Flugplatz Post 66877 Ramstein-Miesenbach Mark for: Mr. Rolando Crossdale and MSGT Richard Petitt ? (DSN 312-480-8097) (CMCL-00-49-6371-478097), by (provide delivery date as the number of days after receipt of order with quote) as FOB destination. (vii) FAR 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Item, applies to this acquisition. (ix) FAR 52.212-2 does not apply to this sole source acquisition. (x) Quotes shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Item; DFARS 252.212-7000(b), Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Item. (xi) FAR 52.212-4 Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. (xii) (1) Award shall be made based on lowest price. Far 52.212-4 applies to this acquisition. Far 52.212-5 applies to this acquisition -- 52.212-5(b): the following additional far clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.203-6; 52.222-21; 52.222-26; 52.222-35; 52.222-36 and 52.222-37.
