Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQ 30703-002-05 for the provisions of a Vocational Training Program at the Federal Correctional Institution, Jesup, Georgia. The contractor must provide a Vocational Instruction Coordinator and vocational instruction that consists of Culinary Arts and Heating and Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) with one year embedded certificate programs in Culinary Arts and HVAC in a contractor prepared curriculum, as well as provide accreditation to the Vocational Training Programs at FCI Jesup. The certification should be issued from an Accredited Institution of Post Secondary Education. It is estimated the contract will include 52 weeks of instruction @ 30 hours per week per contract year for Culinary Arts and HVAC each. The contract will also include 52 weeks of coordination/instruction @ 30 hours per week per contract year for the Vocational Instruction Coordinator. A session will be defined as one hour. Estimated total sessions per year is 4680. The contract period shall consist of one 12 month base year and 2 twelve month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be available on or about September 30, 2005, and will be distributed solely through the website at www.fedbizzopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. The anticipated receipt of quotes is October 21, 2005. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible
