Description

The Air Force intends to award a sole source contract to Clean-It Company, Inc. of Oklahoma City, OK for NON PERSONAL SERVICES for all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, facilities, materials, transportation & incidentals necessary to perform E-3 Aircraft seat plastic media blasting for Tinker AFB, OK. The period of performance is anticipated to commence on 1 October 2005 and complete on 30 September 2006. NOTE: In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Availability of Funds Clause 52.232-18, Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government?s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availablility of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. A Firm-Fixed Price contract is contemplated. The estimated award date will be no later than 01 October 2005. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
