- Description
- Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City intends to solicit BAE Systems Integrated Defense Solutions, Inc., 6500 Tracor Lane, Austin, TX on a sole source basis for Phase II efforts in the development of a Multi-Nodal Unattended Ground Sensor (MNUGS) System. The unattended ground sensor used as a baseline for this effort is proprietary to BAE. This task includes integration of the Joint Chemical Agent Detect (JCAD), which was developed by BAE. Additionally, BAE will be integrating 3rd party toxic industrial sensors (TICs) in to the baseline UGS. Integration of the JCAD and TIC sensors require previous experience with the BAE proprietary Chemical Warfare Agent (CWA) sensor. Specifically, the development and implementation of MNUGS with TICS capability requires the integration of TICS sensors with the BAE proprietary CWA sensor. The integration of MNUGS with TICS capability into the Critical Area Protection System requires modifications to BAE Proprietary message code previously developed. Accordingly, only BAE can perform the integration. Shipping will be to: Naval Support Activity, Panama City, Florida. Note 22 applies. NAICS Code 334511 applies, Size Standard is 750 employees, FSC is 6695.
