Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) respectfully requests your submission of a Firm Fixed Price technical and cost proposal to support to the Business Systems Modernization Office (BSMO). Your submission shall be based on the attached solicitation and associated attachments. Travel is an Other Direct Cost (ODC) to this acquisition. Please comply with the details provided in Part III of the Solicitation, Format and Instructions in submitting your response. The proposed contract will be a five year contract (one year with four one-year options). The work will be performed at the Internal Revenue Service location in New Carrolton, MD. Offerors who qualify for Small Business concerns may indicate such in their RFP submission. The solicitation will be available at the IRS website at http://www.irs.gov/businessopportunities and on the Federal Business Opportunities Website at http://www.eps.gov. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any solicitation and amendments. Telephone inquires will not be accepted. All internet responses must provide a return address Internet address, mailing address, point of contact, and telephone number within the body of the response. Internet responses without the aforementioned information will be disregarded. The solicitation is a hybrid acquisition process for selecting the awardee. The Government intends to use best value and oral presentations. Offers will be evaluated on a best value basis, in accordance with the Evaluation Criteria detailed in PART IV, Basis for Award. Only one award shall be made as a result of this solicitation.
