Description

Region 7, Public Building Service within the General Services Administration has completed the streamlined competition study of its mechanical maintenance services performed in Austin, TX, announced and started June 22, 2005. The performance decision indicates continued performance by Government employees for the services to be the more cost effective approach rather than private industry. Accordingly, the Contracting Officer shall execute a letter of obligation with the official responsible for performing the commercial activity. In accordance with OMB Circular A-76 (Revised), no party may contest any aspect of this streamlined competition. A copy of the Streamlined Cost Competition Form for this study may be released upon written request to the Contracting Officer. Proprietary data will be redacted. The designated Competitive Sourcing Official for this activity was Susan G. Marshall, GSA, CSO, the contracting officer Judi Grossman, and the Agency Tender Offical was Kenny L. Smith, Deputy, Assistant Regional Administrator. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. THEREFORE PROPOSALS ARE NOT REQUESTED.
