Description
The following questions and answers are being provided to address numerous inquiries into this combined synopsis/solicitation: Questions and Answers Question 1 - Is there an incumbent? Answer 1 – Yes, the incumbent is Anteon Corporation. Contract number N65886-05-F-0003. Question 2 - What is the current personnel requirement for this effort? Estimated number of labor hours? Answer 2 – The estimated number of hours for this effort is 12,000 hours. However, this is a performance based contract and the effort should be proposed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Question 3 - How many classes are required? Answer 3 – The effort under this contract does not include classes. The only instruction/training required under this contract entails teaching managers, supervisors and training coordinators on the training management system and its applications. Question 4 - Will the contractor perform the training for the more than 4,000 employees within the contract time frame (one year)? Answer 4 - The only instruction/training required under this contract entails teaching managers, supervisors and training coordinators on the training management system and its applications. The effort under this contract does not include classes or training for more than 4,000 employees, it includes maintenance of the training management system for the more than 4,000 employees. Question 5 - Does the contract involve instructional services (PWS 1.1.1 and 3.7 is unclear)? Answer 5 – The only instruction/training required under this contract entails teaching managers, supervisors and training coordinators on the training management system and its applications. Question 6 - Where are the other offsite locations (PWS 3.1 and 3.6)? Answer 6 - Oklahoma City, OK; Beaufort, SC; Kings Bay, GA; Mayport, FL and Norfolk, VA Question 7 - How much travel is required? Answer 7 – There is no travel required. Question 8 - Is there a chance for this contract to be extended after a year or re-competed? Answer 8 – The contract will be recompeted next year.
