Description
Description: See numbered notes 9, 12, and 26. NSN 2940-01-189-1809 ? Cap, air cleaner inlet. Being bought in accordance with Army (19207) drawing 12338377 and all related data. Exception to drawing: marking may be located on sleeve in lieu of on top. Total quantity required 6646 each with 5646 each to be shipped to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001 and 1000 each to be shipped to (SW3227) Texarkana, TX 75507-5000, FOB destination. The RFP also requests quantity breaks up to 12,000 each. There is also an option for 6646 each, which may or may not be used at a later date. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date 10/04/05. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Technical drawings/bid sets are available after the above issue date from DSCC-VTCD via the Internet at the above web cite. Requests should include the RFP number, opening/closing date, NSN, purchase Request Number (e.g. YPC/YPE), buyer?s name and your complete name and address. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. This solicitation is not set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of delivery, price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The required delivery is for up to 6646 each in 150 days and an additional 6000 every 30 days thereafter until complete. A written quotation is required. Notice to all Contractors: In a final rule contained in the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26 (Item 1, FAR Case 2002-24) published in the Federal Register on December 20, 2004, the Federal Acquisition Regulation was amended to require offerors to submit representations and certification electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors are encouraged to complete an Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA) as soon as possible since this requirement will be appearing in solicitation in the near future. The ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. Until ORCA is fully implemented continue to comply with all government instruction and requirements in solicitation and contract awards.
