Description

1. The following sentence is deleted from CLIN 0001: Emergency Communication Equipment shall be designed in accordance with the criteria in Unified Facilities Criteria, Design and 911 system (UFC). - 2. The following questions and answers are pro vided for clarification: 1. Q: How do you want to record: a. Position Level b. Circuit Level How many? A: THE SYSTEM MUST HAVE THE CAPACITY TO RECORD ALL CALLS RECEIVED, WHETHER ROUTED DIRECT TO THE THREE POSITIONS OR HELD AT THE PSAP UNTIL A LINE IS AVAILABLE. - 2. Q: Is the CenturyTel (PSAP) device a positron adapter or a CMA trunk brought directly in? A: CMA TRUNK. Q: If PSAP device used, can we bypass it? (We do 3rd party control). A: IF THE PSAP IS BYPASSED FOR CALLS FR OM OUR G3R, THE PROPOSAL MUST ALSO ALLOW FOR RECEIPT OF CALLS FROM THE PSAP THAT COME FROM THE PUBLIC SWITCHED NETWORK THAT RESIDE IN OUR JURISDICTION. ALSO REQUIRES THE ABILITY TO ROUTE CALLS BACK TO A DIFFERENT E911 CENTER IF WE RECEIVE A CALL NOT IN WITHIN OUR JURISDICTION. - 3. Q: Is the UFC on the Web for access? If not where can we get access to it? A: CENTURYTEL HAS A CML EMERGENCY SERVICES SYSTEM WITH AN ECS-1000 SELECTIVE ROUTER TO ROUTE 911 CALLS. Q: Is it the local ALI database? A: YES
