Description

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport intends to purchase on a sole source basis from IET Solutions IET IT Service Management Software. This requirement is for proprietary software and is an upgrade to currently used software. It would not be cost effective or efficient to purchase another application since all the data would need to be converted to fit another solution. A formal Solicitation N66604-05-Q-6379 will be posted on our website on approximately 9/24/05. A completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications ?Commercial Items must be submitted with quote. Offers should include price and delivery terms. Offers must be submitted to Commercial Acquisition Department, Bldg. 11, Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Code 5912, Simonpietri Drive, Newport, RI 02841-1708 or may be faxed to 401-832-4820. Offers must be received b y 2:00 p.m. on 9/28/05. For information on this acquisition contact Ms. Geraldine Shenberger at 401-832-1954.
