Description

The Government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price Contract to procure, Brand Name Specific, 4 each Meinl Weston 2155 CC 5/4 Tubas and 2 each Meinl Weston 2145 CC Professional Tubas for the Center for Service Support (School of Music) located in Norfolk, Virginia. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 13.1, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The requested delivery date is no later than 30 December 2005, but offerors should list their best delivery date in their quotes. Quotes will be due by 2:00 p.m., EDT, on 28 September 2005. The North American Industry Classification System code is 451140 (Musical Instrument and Supplies Stores). Note that these tubas are being solicited and procured as Brand Name Specific to the manufacturer, Meinl Weston, and to the model numbers, 2155 CC 5/4 and 2145 CC Professional Tuba. The solicitation is expected to be issued and posted on or around 21 September 2005. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and any subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at http: www.fedbizopps.gov as this office no longer issues hard-copy solicitations. The Solicitation Number is N00189-05-T-0612. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal.
