Description

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Animal Disease Research Unit, in Pullman, WA, requires a universal gel, blot, microplate, and microarray laser imager that offers 3 methods of detection: storage phosphor, fluorescence, and chemiluminescence. The laser imaging system shall digitally measure fluorescence or radioisotopes in gels, blots or microplates or microarrays. Also, the laser imager shall detect 3 different fluorescent molecules within a gel, blot, microplate or microarray. Also, the imaging station shall allow phosphor quantitation of 3-H, 14-C, 125-I, 32-P, 33-P, and 35-S. The imaging system shall have user-friendly quantitation software with Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP compatibility.
