Description

All previous offorers must resubmit. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are be ing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed contract is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334511 size standard is 750 employees. The following is intended to be purchased for the Government: 20 each, Explosives Detector, Hand-Held, EVD-3000. Must be able to detect traces of plastic and high-vapor-pressure explosives, detects and identifies minute traces of C-4, TNT, Dynamite, PETN, Semtrex, EGDN, DMNB, RDX and Nitroglycerine. Portable, self-contained, samples both vapor and particulates, LCD display, audio alarm, operates of 12V DC rechargeable battery or external battery pack and AC adapter. Detection principle: Electrochemical dete ction, compounds to detect: ICAO, Tagants (EGDN, O-mnt, P-mnt). Capable of retrieving up to 896 data records. Supplied items shall be of a professional and quality industrial grade. Place of delivery: Fort Carson, Colorado. Offerors must be able to obta in and deliver all the required items (all or none).
