Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS) intends to award a contract to provide software/hardware maintenance support for the Powerscribe Voice Dictation System Located at 4500 S. Lancaster Road, Dallas, TX 75216. Terms of the contract are one (1) base year plus four (4) option year renewals. Evaluation of options will not obligate the Government to exercise any of the option year renewals. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 in conjunction with procedures prescribed in FAR 13.106. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and is being issued as an anticipated sole source. Request for Quote number 5-RFQ-82 is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions & clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05, effective July 27, 2005. NAICS Code for this procurement is 811212 and SBA Size Standard is $6,000,000.00. All FAR provisions and clauses may be reviewed and obtained at www.arnet.gov. Response to this solicitation is due no later than September 29, 2005, 2:30 P.M., CST in order to be considered a timely response.
