Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F2X3CE5196A100 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under commercial items found at FAR Part 13.5. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05, Effective 26 Aug 2005 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Current to DCN 20050901. The North American Industry Classification System code is 561730 with a small business size of 6 mil. Service contact Act of 1965 as admended applies. Department of Labor Wage Determination 94-2011 Rev (30) Dated 05/23/2005 will be incorporated into the award. This acquisition will be solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. This acquisition is for the purchase of the following items: CLIN 0001: Clear and Grub, brush and light trees up to 6? dia., 10.5 acres. CLIN 0002: Rough Grade 1500 C.Y. CLIN 0003: Seeding w/Bahia grass, then blown w/ straw 12 Acres A SITE VIST will be held on 23 Sept 2005. Contractors will meet at the contracting office (bldg 804 50 LeMay Plaza) at 11:00. Interested parties must RSVP to TSgt Stacy by COB (4:30 local time) 22 Sept 2005. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors - Commercial Items (Jan 2005), applies to this acquisition.
