- The Army Contracting Agency Northern Region, Dugway Proving Ground, Utah Directorate of Contracting (hereinafter referred to as the Government) seeks to identify responsible contractors and obtain information on their capabilities in regards to pro viding Base facilities operations support service. A contractor will be required to furnish all necessary labor, material and supervision necessary to perform the following functions of maintenance and repair of real property, engineering and technical se rvices, pest control, grounds keeping, operation and maintenance of utility systems, and family housing maintenance and support services. The purpose of this announcement is to determine the extent of industry interest and experience in the requirement li sted above, and to identify the potential socioeconomic classification (e.g., large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, etc.) for a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) document to be issued at a later date. No proposals are being request ed or accepted under this synopsis. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 561210 and the standard is $30 Mil. Qualified companies are encouraged to respond. Responses should provide the perti nent details and experience of doing this type of services, so the design, development, and current capabilities related to the stated requirement so, Government personnel can assess the ability of the company to contribute to the above stated requirement. Interested sources should also state their business size classification as it relates to the above stated NAICS standard. PROCEDURES: This Request For Information (RFI) is a required component of a complete and systematic process to evaluate interested parties in order to minimize cost both to potentially interested parties and the Government. This notice is being issued to determine the interest and feasibility of proceeding with a formal request for proposals. Should insufficient credible interest be identified for this action, it is highly unlikely that a formal solicitation will be issued. Should interest be determined sufficient, a formal request for proposals may be forthcoming. Interested sources are also encouraged to submit product literature in response to this Request for Information (RFI). Any submission of such product literature or catalog cut sheets will be treated separate from, and will have no bearing on, any subsequent evaluation of proposals submitted in response to any resulting fu ture formal RFP. Interested parties should provide a statement of interest on company letterhead (not to exceed 20 pages in length) to: U.S. Army, Dugway Proving Ground, Attn: SFCA-NR-DW (Ricky J. Jaramillo, Contract Specialist), Dugway Proving Ground, Du gway, Utah 84022. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this SOURCES SOUGHT or Government use of any information provided. Elaborate proposals or pricing information are neither required nor desired. Any in novative and new conceptual ideas to achieve the stated objective are encouraged. No solicitation document exists for this request for Sources Sought . This notice is for informational purposes only; it is not a request for proposals nor should it be con strued as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended into responding to this sources sought announcement.
