Description

SPECIFICATION Statement of Work for Catholic Mass Musician/Choir Director Date: 24 August 2005 1. General Requirements. The Naval Station Command Religious Program (CRP) requires a Catholic Musician/Choir Director at Bluejacket Memorial Chapel (BMC), Forrestal Village Chapel (FVC), and Recruit Memorial Chapel (RMC). 2. Scope of Work. The contractor shall provide piano or organ music, lead singing, and direct choirs. Specifically: a. The contractor shall meet as directed with the TSC Catholic Chaplain and Religious Program Specialist (RP) to discuss and coordinate music for divine services and rehearsals. b. The contractor shall provide piano or organ accompaniment for Catholic Masses and other required worship services. c. The contractor shall lead choir and congregation singing for worship services and choir rehearsals. d. The contractor shall conduct choir rehearsals at designated times. e. The contractor shall provide his/her own transportation to the divine service location as required. f. The contractor shall foster and maintain good rapport with chapel families and chapel staff. 3. Quantity/Cost of Services. a. See attached NAVCOMPT Form 2276. 4. Notification Regarding Absences and Vacations. The contractor will give the TSC Catholic Chaplain 96 hours notice in the event he/she is unable to perform duties as prescribed. The contractor is responsible for obtaining and will provide a qualified substitute for all absences and vacations. 5. Effective Date. The effective date of this contract is from 01 October 2005 to 30 September 2006. 6. Payment Method. After the contractor has signed the invoice and has had it signed by the TSC Catholic Chaplain, the contractor is responsible for mailing the original copy to the contracting officer at the following address: Jeff Colp Purchasing Department (Receiving) Naval Station Great Lakes Bldg 3502 360 Huron Street Great Lakes, IL 60088 (847) 688-4706 7. Location and Times. Location and times are subject to change to meet the requirements of the Command Religious Program. The contracting officer representative, RP2 Felicia Taylor, is responsible for notifying the contractor within one week on any changes in work location or schedule. 8. Termination.
