Description

The Government intends to place a delivery order in accordance with FAR 8.405-1 for Motorola?s Portable Astro Digital XTS5000 (H18KEF9PW6AN)(Transceivers) and accessories. The Government intends to procure the Portable Transceivers on a sole source basis from Motorola because Motorola does not have any authorized resellers and the Federal Government can only procure these Portable Transceivers through Motorola?s GSA Schedule GS-35F-0004L. The Government also intends to procure the following open market accessories from Motorola because they are all upgrades that come with the Portable Transceivers exclusively sold by Motorola: Q58AD ENH: Two (2) Years Encrypted Express Service Plus. The Government reserves the right to make a split award due to the fact that some items are exclusively available through Motorola?s GSA Schedule and others are open market. The open market items, which are not on the Federal Supply Schedule and are not upgrades that come with the Portable Transceivers, are the NNTN4436-IMPRES SMART NIMH, FM 2000 MAH (1750 MIN) IS (-20C); NMN6193C-REMOTE MIC; RVN4181N-SOFTWARE FOR ASTRO 25 PORTABLE CD FORMAT; VERSION R01.00.00; RKN4106A-PROGRAMMING CABLE, RS232, XTS2500; RKN4105A-PROGRAMMING CABLE, USB, XTS2500, NTN1736A-COMMPORT W/SIDE PTT, XTS/MTS/HT/TETRA. Offerors are reminded that the Government plans to procure these open market items through GSA; therefore, this RFQ is only open to GSA Schedule Holders, please see the GSA e-Buy RFQ: N00189-05-T-0538 (clins 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.)
