Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for IBM Xcel software maintenance, along with Linux phone and electronic support in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Please see attached BOM for items. Offeror(s) shall provide pricing for “all” items requested in the Bill of Materials (BOM). All offeror(s) are required to register at website http: //orca.bpn.gov. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request For Quotes (RFQ). The General Services Administration, Federal Technology Service, Region 9, San Francisco Area Office, intends to award a single firm-fixed-price contract. The delivery date is 30 days after receipt of award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is: 541519; the size standard is: $21,000,000. The closing date of receipt of proposal is 8/1/05 8:00 AM PST. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors—Commercial Items (Jan 2005) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2-Evaluation—Commercial Items (Jan 1999). 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications—Commercial Items (Mar 2005) 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions—Commercial Items (Oct 2003) and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders—Commercial Items (Apr 2005).
