Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Healthcare Network Upstate New York (VISN 2) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Dictaphone Corporation, 3984 Pepsi Cola Drive, Melbourne, FL, 32934 for full hardware and software maintenance support for the Dictaphone EX-Voice, Text and Speech Dictation System under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, and FAR Part 13, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Support includes, but is not limited to: 24/7 remote operation center support and active system management, software error corrections and updates, preventative maintenance, emergency and routine maintenance, one hour response time remotely and commencement of malfunction repair within four hours, and provide on-site support within four (4) hours after reported malfunction. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Anyone wishing to respond to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence (Employee training, competencies, experience, past performance, etc.) that they can meet these requirements. Interested parties have five days from the date of this posting to respond and submit their qualifications and capabilities in writing. Such qualifications and capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Fax responses to the attention of Mary T.
