Description

Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for a PowerWorld Simulator Version 11.0 software site license with add-on ATV, PVQV, OPF, SCOPF, and SimAuto options to PowerWorld Corporation, 2001 South First Street, Champaign, IL, 61820. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541511. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because of the proprietary nature of the software and the need to communicate with other intelligence agency applications.
