Description: Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for Adult and Audio Book Lease to Brodart Company, 500 Arch St., Williamsport, PA 17701-7809. The Book Lease Service is necessary for the Base Library to satisfy mission requirements. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because Brodart Company is the only company who could fulfill this requirement.
