- OFFICE: 42 CONS/LGCB 50 LeMay Plaza South Montgomery, AL 36112 SUBJECT: System Support DUE: 25 SEP 05 POC: SSgt Nannie Young, Contract Specialist, Phone: (334) 953-5530; Fax (334) 953-2198 DESC: 42 CONS at Maxwell Air Force Base, AL is requesting information for System Support. This is a Request for Information (RFI) ONLY. It is not a Request for Proposal (or solicitation) or an indication a contractual commitment will exist for this requirement. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO AWARD A CONTRACT ON THE BASIS OF THIS RFI OR OTHERWISE PAY FOR THE INFORMATION SOLICITED. The purpose of this market research (Source Sought Synopsis) is to determine if there are sources that can supply an existing requirement. The requirement is as follows: 24x7 System support on site?4 hour response time and telephone/updates on the following equipment: N4000/FP7400, Support Identifier MAXAFBN1, Product Number A6206A, SN SG115000025, Product Number A6206AZ, SN SG11300145, Period of Performance 1 Oct 05-30 Sep 06. Part Numbers are Hewlett Packard and vendors should be HP Certified. Firms responding to this RFI are asked to provide the following information in their initial response: company?s full name, business size, address, point of contact, and a clear indication as to whether or not they can provide the item the government is seeking. The government is anticipating using a North American Industry Classification System Code of 541511. Contractors interested in performing these services should be registered in Wide Area Workflow (https://wawf.eb.mil/) and Central Contractor Registration (http://www.bpn.gov/ccr/scripts/index.html). Final responses to this RFI will be due on 25 September 2005. Responses will be reviewed and may result in further clarifications to further explore commercial capabilities with selected respondents. As industry may expect to see portions of submitted information in future solicitations, portions of the response containing proprietary information should be clearly marked as such. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. Oral submissions of information are not acceptable and will not be accepted in response to this notice.
