Pertains to all doors: Answers: NEMA 4 rating for all control stations for all doors Use Miller Edge MT21 sensing edge with SJO coil cord, for all doors Bldg 91132 1.) Description of work calls for "remove (1) door & install government-owned door". - What type of door is "government-owned" door? (sectional or rolling steel) / (insulated or noninsulated) / (chain hoist operation or electric operation) - If electrically operated, reuse existing operator or furnish new operator? - What is size of door? (width x height) 2.) Description of work calls for "replace (6) 3-button control stations". - Are controls to be used for interior use (NEMA 1 rated) or exterior use (NEMA 4 rated)? 3.) "Replace (7) motor operators". - What size (width x height) and type (sectional or rolling) (insulated or noninsulated) of doors will these new operators be used on? - What is the required operator horsepower? What is available voltage/phase? - What type of operator controls are currently on the existing doors? Answer: Cookson door, model 610292. (14'9"x16'6") rolling steel, insulated, with 1 of 7 new electric operators and control station - Furnish new operator voltage ________ phase _______ - 14'9"W x 16'4"H - correction, we listed 6 control stations, we need 7. - Doors are 14'9"W x 16'4"H - - Make - Overhead doors - model 45711 RA Bldg 91127 1.) "Lube & adjust (4) doors". - What size (width x height) and type (sectional or rolling) (insulated or noninsulated) of doors are at this location? Answer: 14'3"W x 14'8"H; - rolling, non-insulated Bldg 90761 1.) "Replace (4) 3-button control stations". - Are controls to be used for interior use (NEMA 1 rated) or exterior use (NEMA 4 rated)? 2.) "Replace (4) electric safety edges (RH)". - What is the length of these safety edges? Answer: 14'6" safety edge - Propose to install Type MT 2-wire electric safety edges with SJO coil cords, as manufactured by Miller Edge (intended for use on rolling steel doors with double angle bottom bars). Is this type of safety edge acceptable? Answer: See above answer that applies to all doors. Bldg 90810 1.) "Replace (1) 12' (LH) electric safety edge". - Propose to install Type MT 2-wire electric safety edge with SJO coil cord, as manufactured by Miller Edge (intended for use on rolling steel door with double angle bottom bar). Is this type of safety edge acceptable? Answer: See above answer that applies to all doors. Bldg 90816 1.) "Tail door - replace (1) 16x10 door, noninsulated, chain hoist..." - Our records show the tail door to be approximately 12' wide x 15' high with electric operation. Is there more than (1) Tail door loacated in Bldg 90816? - Verify door size and type of operation. Answer: Door is 12'W x 16'H; Electrical operator Bldg 90712 1.) "Remove and replace panels and cables". - Assume this to be (1) sectional overhead door. What is size of door (width x height)? What is door type (insulated or noninsulated)? Quantity of panels to be replaced? Gauge of sections (24 / 22/ 16)? Answer: Door is 8'W x 7'H - Make: Clopay serial: 0100007391160715 - Replace bottom section, and cables Bldg 90054 1.) @ 4th door from south. - What size (width x height) and type (sectional or rolling) (insulated or noninsulated) of door at this location? 2.) @ Readiness Warehouse - "replace door & reuse existing operator". - What size (width x height) and type (sectional or rolling) (insulated or noninsulated) of door at this location? Answer: - 4th door from south. Door is 12'6"W x 10'10"H - Warehouse door is 12'7"W x 12'2"H - Rolling door, insulated Bldg 90117 1.) @ Door #26 - What is the length of this safety edge? - Propose to install Type MT 2-wire electric safety edges with SJO coil cords, as manufactured by Miller Edge (intended for use on rolling steel doors with double angle bottom bars). Is this type of safety edge acceptable? 2.) @ Door #21 - What size (width x height) and type (sectional or rolling) (insulated or noninsulated) of existing door will this new operators be used on? - What is the required operator horsepower? Horsepower? 4.) @ Door #15 - Propose to install Type MT 2-wire electric safety edges with SJO coil cords, as manufactured by Miller Edge (intended for use on rolling steel doors with double angle bottom bars). Is this type of safety edge acceptable? 5.) @ Door #7 - Assumes this to be a rolling steel door. What size (width x height) and type (insulated or noninsulated) is this existing door?
