Description
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION/SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. US ARMY TACOM-Picatinny is conducting Market Research for the Armaments Research Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) for support to encompass a broad range of technology areas, operational areas, training and end item commodities. In conjunction with the PEO Soldier Systems and the SOCOM PEO for Special programs, ARDEC is currently investigating the generation, propagation, and interaction of various target effects produced from advanced weapons, munitions and energy technologies to meet the full spectrum of special mission needs. Experience with Special Mission Units (SMU), their requirements process, and a functional knowledge of Training Tactics & Procedures (TTP) as applied to SMU operations is necessary for execution of the work requirements under anticipated efforts. The contractor will serve as liaison to the U.S. Army Special Forces by maintaining a working presence at FT. Bragg and visiting other key Special Forces locations to accomplish statement of work tasking. Work efforts and training would require performance up to and including the TOP SECRET level. Respondents should include current corporate/facility/personnel security clearance information. All responses must include company name, address, POC, phone number, email address, business size, and business status (SDB, Woman Owned, SDV, etc.) The proposed NAICS Code for this acquisition is 541990 ??? All Other Professional, Technical and Scientific Services, Federal Supply Class R599 ??? Other Special Studies and Analyses. The Size Standard for this action is $6M. The planned effort will be limited to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. All information collected from this survey is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute an RFP and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. All information submitted will be held in a confidential status. A Draft Statement of Objectives (SOO) is available on the Picatinny Center for Contracting and Commerce website at http://procnet.pica.army.mil. All sources capable of providing these services should respond by addressing the various areas of the SOO. A five (5) year effort consisting of one base year with four (4) option years is anticipated. Responses to this survey shall be provided within 20 calendar days from the date of this publication to US Army TACOM-Picatinny, Picatinny Center for Contracting and Commerce, AMSTA-AQ-APH, ATTN: James L. Turner, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000. Submissions must be in electronic format and may be mailed so as to arrive by the due date or sent via electronic mail to jlturner@pica.army.mil.
