- This project will provide a new 150 member U.S. Army Reserve Center containing a Training/Administrative area, a Unit Storage area, an Operations Maintenance Shop and an Unheated storage area at a rural site in Bellefonte, PA for assigned U.S. Army r eserve units. The facility will be 34,158 square feet and will be constructed on a 22 acre tract of land located along the Northern side of Route 26, east of Harrison Road in Centre County, PA. Construction will be of combined structural steel frame and st ructural CMU, shingled roof and combined masonry and metal panel exterior walls. An active rail spur borders the north side of the site. The western side is held with an easement of a gas line and the east side abuts active farmland. This project is availa ble on compact disk only. This requirement will be a Low Price Technically Acceptable procurement conducted in accordance with procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulati ons (FAR) Part 15.101-2. Proposals will be evaluated on the technical factors; Prime Construction Firm Experience, Key Personnel, and Past Performance. The price range for this project is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. The referenced North American Industry Classification System has a size standard of $28,500,000. This Solicitation will be a Request for Proposal, and a fixed-price contract will be awarded as a result of this procurement subject to availability of funds. This solicitation is subject to the Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns. Period of Performance is 500 days.
