Description

This notice of proposed contract action for Project Number 114497 Construction of Perdido Key Dune Crossovers may be accessed via the Internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. On or about Monday, October 3, 2005, a request for quotation (RFQ) number Q5320050105 will be issued for work consisting of furnishing all labor and equipment to install park service supplied materials for construction of eleven (11) dune crossovers. Length of each crossover is as follows: 66' 8", 90' 0", 75 '10", 150' 0", 101' 8", 150' 0", 195'' 0", 136' 0", 200' 0", 180' 0" and 120' 0" for a sum total of 1,465' 2" lineal feet. The work site is located at Perdido Key area of Gulf Islands National Seashore in Escambia County, Pensacola, Florida. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Period of performance is 60 days from notice to proceed. Tentative date for issuance of the NTP is on or about November 1, 2005. This proposed acquisition is UNRESTRICTED (open to both large and small) pursuant to Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program Act of 1988, Public Law 100-656 (15 U.S.C. 644 note). The applicable NAICS code is 238130 and the associated Size Standard is $12 Million. The solicitation, plans and specifications will be available, for inspection and without charge, via the Internet at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. A vaild DUNS # and MPIN is required to login the IDEAS-EC system. Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
