Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to conduct an industry day for purposes of communicating with industry the Navy?s program objectives with respect to the commercialization for Program Management, Sustaining Engineering, Logistic Support, Supply Chain Management and Maintenance and Modification of the C-2 aircraft. The industry day will serve as an open forum in which to baseline and communicate program objectives to industry and collect industry feedback collectively or individually for Government consideration prior to release of a formal request for proposal. The Government is also seeking industry information to support a business case analysis (BCA) for this requirement. BCA information in which the Government is interested and a draft of the C-2 industry day brief may be accessed on the NAVAIR Contracts Web site. Instructions for access are as follows: http://navair.navy.mil , click doing business, open solicitations, double click on solicitation number N00019-05-P7-PJ195. Contractors who are interested in meeting with the Government on an individual basis during industry day in order to share industry BCA information, and/or to discuss proprietary items or issues, must request such a meeting when responding to this synopsis. The industry day is scheduled for Wednesday October 12, 2005 from 0800 to 1700 at the Wyle Conference Center, Exploration Park III, Lexington Park, MD. Interested parties are requested to submit their company name, address, and number of attendees via email to Michael.Smith@navy.mil and david.diehl@navy.mil no later than 5 October 2005.
