Description
SUBPART: ADP Equipment Software CLASSCODE: 7030 SUBJECT: Technical Services SOL: N65236-05-R- 0676 DUE: 03 October 2005 POC: Dennis Walp (843) 218-5978. Contracting Officer: Patricia Godwin. DESC: The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center- Charleston (SPAWARSYSCEN- Charleston) intends to negotiate a sole source contract in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, with ILC Systems, LLC, 33350 Peachtree Road, Suite 1000, Atlanta, GA 30326-1039. The proposed action is for technical services and program support for software development and modification of Teleport Management and Control System (TMCS) (Build 3) to provide additional communication capabilities and is a continuation and extension of the TMCS work performed by ILC. In addition to the license agreement, for the past 2 years ILC has been the original developer and sole maintainer of the TMCS software (Builds 1 and 2). They have unique and detailed knowledge of TMCS architecture and software enhancement requirements. They have developed a team of experts that are highly specialized in TMCS software maintenance capability. This background is critical to ensure continuity of uninterrupted support for the TMCS program at various TMCS integration sites. ILC Systems, LLC is a Small Business. There is no other source that can modify the ILC MaxView software. No solicitation will be made available as a result of this announcement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the individual identified below. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Any response to this announcement is due ten (10) days from the date this notice is published. Responses received will be evaluated. However, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement is based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
