Description

This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items, prepared in accordance with the format at FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with information in this notice. This procurement is 100% Set Aside for Small Business. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation that will be issued, a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation numberr H92240-05-T-0029 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05. The associated NAICS code is 448150 and the small business standard is 500 employees. Line Item No. 0001 Embroidery Services for initially issued uniforms, for Naval Special Warfare Group One, Logistic Support Unit One, SEAL Team One, SEAL Team Three, SEAL Team Five, and SEAL Team 7. Items to be embroidered are: Caps, blouses, pants, jackets. Description of embroidery: Name tags, U.S. Navy tags, Warfare insignia, and related Navy specialty insignias. Lapel insignias, cap insignia for various issued color camouflage uniforms. Four (4) uniforms per person. Embroidery serial numbr on each side of (approximately 1,255) Releasable Body Armor Vests. Modification to Tactical Camouflage Utility Jacket. Vendor to provide fasteners for each Tactical Camouflage Utility Jacket. Approximately 3,500 Tactical Camouflage Utility Jackets to be modified from 01 October 2005 thru September 30, 2006. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Offerors are required to complete and include a copy of the following provision to their proposals: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certificates-Commercial Items. FAR 52.212.5 (DEV) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, FAR 52.232-33 Payment to Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration and DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items. NOTE: RESPONSE DATE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO SEPTEMBER 27, 2005 VICE SEPTEMBER 24, 2005.
