Description
NOAA’s Marine Operations Center – Pacific has a requirement to provide all facilities, supervision, material, and labor necessary to perform repairs and modifications to the NOAA Vessel HI’IALAKAI IN Honolulu, HI. Performance period to commence approximately 07 November 2005 and complete on or before 30 December 2005. The work consists of approximately 22 basic items and 10 optional items. Basic work includes: Replace Shaft Seals, Replace Bow Mooring Bitts, Replace Pullman Berths, Install New Weather Tight Doors, Service/Modify Ground Tackle, Overhaul Fuel Oil Purifiers, Overhaul Kato Main Generators, Modify HPU Hydraulic Piping, and Perform Main Engine Top End Overhauls. The vessel will be available for inspection 03-05 October 2005 in Snug Harbor, #1 Sand Island Access Rd, Honolulu, HI. A pre-bid inspection can be arranged by calling the vessel’s Port Engineer at (206) 553-1695. Vessel particulars are: Overall Length – 224’0”, Beam Molded – 43’0”, Draft Design – 15’0”, Depth to Main Deck 20’0”, Displacement – (FL) 2283 LT, Displacement – (LS) 1489 LT, Gross Tonnage 1914 G.T., Shafts – 2, Speed Sustained – 11 knts.
