AMENDMENT #1: The following changes are hereby incorporated. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. A site visit has been scheduled for 12 AUG 2005 AT 10:00 AM EST. It is advised that all interested parties attend this site visit. Please send Leslie Riffey the names of the people who will be attending the site visit, by email (leslie.riffey@andrews.af.mil) or fax (301-981-1914), by 1:00 PM EST on 11 AUG 2005. The following information is provided in regard to Line Items for Liberty Hall and Freedom Hall: a. Table tops are Plymold standard Duraedge with standard laminate inlay in specified design. b. All work to be performed in stages and/or on weekend to minimize disruption to customer. Carpet installation is scheduled to take place after removal of old furniture. New furniture installation may proceed on the same day or begin the next day. Freedom Hall is the larger of the two facilities and is open 24 hours so work is required over the weekend to minimize disruption. Liberty Hall closes at 1:00 pm so installation may take place at Liberty Hall during the week if needed. c. CLINS 0005 and 0014 do not have drawings. Booth coat rack is required. d. CLINS 0002 & 0003 – Booths require 1 (one) Upholstered End Panel Right e. CLIN 004 – Back pad is finished. f. CLINS 0012 & 0013 – Booths require 1 (one) Upholstered End Panel Right. g. CLIN 0024 & 0025 – Loading and debris areas are located at rear of each respective building. There are no elevators on site but there are about 5 steps in the loading area. There are no storage facilities for the items when delivered. 1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. Reference Number F1D3685202A100 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). 3. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-04 and DCN 20050621. 4. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. If there is no offer received from a small business concern, this acquisition for small business set-aside may be dissolved and the acquisition open to all responsive bidders. NOTE: This acquisition will not be reposted to the Electronic Posting System if the acquisition is dissolved for 100% small business consideration. Number note 1 is applicable. Addendum to Paragraph (a), The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this RFQ to the most responsive, responsible offers whose offer represents the best value in terms of the following factors in descending order. Best value will be based upon a tradeoff between non-price (Delivery) and price factors. The contractor ability to deliver all line items is significantly more important than price consideration. 9. The Government will review all offers for completeness. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this RFQ to the most responsive offer. 10.
