Description

The purpose of this amendment is to provide response to the questions submitted by potential offerors. Q. The Lab shall have 2 feet aluminum walls? A. The lab shall have 2 inches aluminum walls on 16 inches center. The walls shall also have 2 inc hes aluminum cross supports on 16 inches centers. Under all the walls there shall be 3/8 inch plywood.. Q. The roof shall be 2 question inches post on 24 inches center with .040 aluminum one piece roof? What exactly do they mean by underlined portion o f those descriptions? The roof shall be 2.5 inches post on 24 inches centers with .040 aluminum one-piece roof skin. Q. As for the base construction of the trailer, conventional steel frame trailer? Solicitation is for Aluminum trailer not steel frame. The Governmnent request Aluminum because it is lighter and the trailer can be hauled by more types of vehicles due to lesser weight of the trailer. Steel is very heavy.
