- The U.S. Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), is conducting market research to seek qualified small business sources to provide facilities maintenance and support for the Office of Secure Transportation as reflected in the attached Statement of Work. Interested parties are asked to submit a Statement of Capability (SOC) to NNSA including the following information: (1) Company Name and Mailing Address; (2) Point of Contact (name, title, telephone number); (3) Type of Small Business (Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman-Owned Business, Veteran-Owned Business, etc.); (4) A statement that your company meets the size standard under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 561210 entitled Facilities Support Services, which has a corresponding size standard of $30M; (5) A brief description of how your company will perform the percentage of work specified in Federal Acquisition Regulation 52.219-14(b)(2), if your company is a manufacturer of the required items; (6) A brief summary of your company experience and past performance within the last 5 years as it relates to the foregoing description of the required items. Each company experience summary should include (a) name of project, (b) brief description of project, (c) contract or project number, (d) client/customer point of contact (name, address, phone), (e) dollar value of the contract/project, (f) period of performance of contract/project, (g) relevance of contract/project to NNSA's requirements described above, and (h) past performance rating demonstrating the capability of the firm(s) to successfully deliver the required items. Large businesses need not respond to this announcement. SOCs shall not exceed 20 letter-size (8.5x11) pages, double-spaced, using 12-point font; pages in excess of the specified limit will not be reviewed. SOCs submitted in response to this announcement may be used as a basis for future solicitations. This announcement is being used to determine if sufficient small business interest and capability exists to set aside this acquisition. This notice is provided as information to the marketplace and is an invitation for an expression of interest and demonstration of capability to perform the anticipated work. The Government will not pay for the provision of any information nor will it compensate any respondents for the development of such information. This notice is NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. NNSA will not be responsible for any costs incurred in responding to this notice. Responses must be received through the IIPS website (http://e-center.doe.gov/) or may be e-mailed to Agustin Archuleta (E-Mail Address: AArchuleta2@doeal.gov ) within 14 days from issuance of this Notice.
