Description
AMC Contracting Flight intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a separate written request for quotation will not be issued. This is a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 423620 with a Small Business Size Standard of 500 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The solicitation number for this announcement is FA4452-05-Q-A562. This requirement is for 94 Multi-System TV units. Each unit consists of the following specifications: (a) A Multi-System TV, A Multi-System VCR, and a Code Free DVD player; (b) TV-Related Features: 21-inch Pure Flat Screen TV (19-inch viewable screen), Hi-Fi Stereo Sound with Nicam Decoder, Front AV-in, Rear AV Input/Output, Coaxial Digital Audio Output (DVD); (c) DVD-Related Features: Plays any DVD from any region, Plays DVD/DVD-R/CD/MP-3 on CD-RW; (d) VCR-Related Features: 6-Head Hi-Fi Stereo Multi System, Playback and record in PAL, NTSC or Mesecam. TV tuners for PAL-B/G, PAL D/K, PAL I SECAM-B/G, SECAM D/K (MESECAM) NTSC M-3.58, 4.43 playback and A/V recording only. Play any PAL or NTSC VHS or S-VHS tape; (e) World Wide Auto Switching power supply: AC 110 - 240 V 50/60 Hz; (f) Equipment must ship as a unit; (g) See attached Excel shipping file for complete list of delivery locations, points of contact, and quantities per location. There are 94 items to be delivered to 77 CONUS locations; (h) Vendor must provide tracking numbers for all shipments to the following address within 30 days of shipment: HQ AMC/A25R, ATTN Cynthia Mounts, 402 Scott Dr Unit 1L8, Scott AFB IL 62225-5309, or e-mail: cindy.mounts@scott.af.mil. Delivery is to be made within 30 days after receipt of order on an FOB Destination basis. Information shall be provided in a format that reflects the price per item and a total price. Total cost shall include all shipping and handling to all locations. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05. The provision at FAR 52-212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Only one award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror who meets the requirement. Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification?Commercial Items, with their offer.
