Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W911SG-05-T-0278 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Proposals are due by 29 Sep 05, 4:00 p.m. local time. The Fort Bliss Directorate of Contractin g is soliciting for a quantity of 1,000 modular assault vests, one piece, tan color. Each vest should come with four triple 30 rd. AR-15 mag pockets, two large utility pockets and two small utility pockets, 1/5 adjustable shoulder straps, and a waist bel t. Vest components should be constructed from 1000 denier Condura nylon for maximum durability. If selected, the contractor must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR at http://www.ccr.gov) in order to receive the award at the time of se lection. The following provisions and clauses apply: FAR clauses 52.202-1, 52.203-5, 52.203-6, 52.203-7, 52.204-3, 52.211-5, 52.212-4, 52.212-5, 52.216-24, 52.216-25, 52.225-13, 52.232-1, 52.233-4, 52.243-1, 52.244-6; DFAR clauses 252.212-7000, 252.212-7 001 and 252.232-7003. A completed copy of the provision 52.212-3 must accompany your offer.
