- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice. The 89th Contracting Squadron wishes to procure maintenance and repair services for Hangar Doors at Andrews Air Force Base, MD. This competitive acquisition is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. This requirement will result in a Firm-Fixed price contract, with a one year basic contract and four one-year option periods. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310 with a small business size standard of $6 million. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation. There will be no public bid opening. The basis for award will be Past Performance and Price with past performance being significantly more important than price. The government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 22 August 2005 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.eps.gov. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Those unregistered in CCR may do so by calling 1-800-334-3414 or by visiting http://www.ccr.gov/. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
