Description

The Government intends to place a delivery order in accordance with FAR 8.405-1 for Motorola?s Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) Encryption kits (Model No. CA00182AD) and accessories. These kits and accessories will be used to upgrade a large quantity of mobile and portable radios and related ancillary equipment to AES. The Government intends to procure the AES kits and accessories on a sole source basis from Motorola because Motorola is the sole supplier of the radios and ancillary equipment; as such, Motorola equipment and upgrades are required to ensure compatibility and operability.
