Description

This Sources Sought/Market is seeking interested HUBzone small businesses for competitive consideration. The 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt AFB, NE is conducting a source sought to determine if there are any HUBzone small businesses interested in a blanket purchase agreement for asbestos abatement for five years (Oct 01 2005-Sept 30 2010).The supplier shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items or services necessary to perform asbestos abatement containing materials (ACM) on Offutt AFB, Nebraska. NON-EMERGENCY and EMERGENCY services are required for this agreement. EMERGENCY services are to be responded to within 24 hours including weekends and Holidays. NAICS code is 562910 with a size standard of $12.0M. All interested HUBzone small businesses should notify SrA Tanis Brainerd by either email, facsimile, or phone, no later than 28 September 05 at 12:00pm CST. Small businesses must be able to provide the following: (1) Proof that the contractor will be able to perform at least 25% of the asbestos abatement services (2) A price list; including emergency services. This agreement will abide by Davis Bacon wage rates, and the International Agreement For Removal of Asbestos-Containing Material of 1985 and 1987. NOTE: This is not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list nor is it a Request for Proposal, or an announcement of a solicitation. The results of this source sought will be considered to be in effect for a period of one year from the date of this notice.
