Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT; HOWEVER, A REQUEST FOR FUNDING IS INCLUDED IN THE FY06 SPEND PLAN. AWARD IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDS BECOMING AVAILABLE ON 01 OCTOBER 2005. ALL QUOTES NEED TO BE VALID UNTIL 30 OCTOBER 2005. Solicitation number F1B3A25249A100 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-24. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside under North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code 811310, with a size standard of $6 Million. A quotation is requested for 1 each periodic maintenance for mezzanine system. Semi-annual visits thereafter; 1 each periodic maintenance for lift attached to mezzanine. AWARD SHALL BE MADE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS WHO HAVE REGISTERED WITH THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION AND ONLINE REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS AT: www.ccr.gov/. and www.orca.bpn.gov. The government reserves the right to make award on the initial quote without discussions. A pre-bid/pre-proposal conference will be conducted at Bldg 185 on 28 September 2005 at 1030 for the purpose of answering questions regarding this solicitation. Submit the names of all attendees (not to exceed 2) to A1C Jessica Beaston prior to 1600 on 27 September 2005. This information must be provided in advance in order to ensure access to the military base/conference site and adequate seating for the conference attendees. Bidders/Offerors are requested to submit questions to the point of contact noted above not later than 1600 on 27 September 2005. AFFARS 5352.242-9000 (Jun 2002), Contractor Access To Air Force Installations also applies to this solicitation. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be issued in writing. Statement of work Install 1 each Mohawk Model TR25 lift and or a second lift Mohawk Model TR 25 at building 353. 1. Request the installation to full working order to include safety certificate for 1 each used Mohawk lift model number TR 25 serial number 9303405 in building 353 at Altus AFB. The lift was in working order when shipped; all components were packaged and sent with the lift. Request that the lift with a rough estimate of 65 foot electrical run be fully installed to working order to include the safety certificate. We have 2 lifts of the same model the second lift is a Mohawk model TR25, serial #9301062 and should no parts be needed from the second lift to make the first lift operational then we would require the second lift with an estimated 140 foot electrical run be installed to full working order to include the safety certificate. Electrical conduit and wiring must be installed from the breaker box to each lift. The first lift is about 65 feet from the box with a ceiling height of 18 to 20 feet and the second lift is about 140 feet from the box. Wiring must meet all state, federal and local codes, a set of drawings for the electrical work done must also be provided at the completion of the job. The lifts have Emerson electric motors Model C55GAJ-3481 ? HP with voltage/amp rating of 115V/8.2A or 230V/4.2A, 60HZ 1phase. Summary: We have 2 lifts to install, we would like one lift installed and placed in full working order and if no parts are required from the second lift to make the first lift operational then we would need the second lift installed.
