Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F2X3B65217A100 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for certain commercial items found at FAR 13.5. The solicitation document and incorporation provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-05, effective 26 Aug 2005, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, and Defense Change Notice (DCN) 2005-0901. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System code is 332999 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. CLIN 0001 Rack-Supported Mezzanine Delivered: Provided based on attached drawing and includes pallet rack, mezzanine floor supports, b-deck (mezzanine decking, 2 safety gates, 1 stairway, handrail, kick plate and wire decking for storage levels. Mezzanine to be approximately the same level as existing mezzanine over office area. Two storage levels will be provided on both the floor level and mezzanine level. Mezzanine decking shall have a capacity of 125 lbs/sf and each storage level shall have a capacity of approximately 4,000 lbs per level. Security fencing will be provided around 4 storage bays. CLIN 0002 Light under mezzanine. Furnish and install florescent lights under mezzanine within aisles. Building electrical service to be available within area of mezzanine. CLIN 0003 Cantilever Rack Delivered. Located along one wall as shown on drawing. Columns to be 240? high and located every 12ft. Arms and bases to be 48? long. There shall be 4 levels (including base level) with wire decking included to provide a continuous storage shelf per level. Capacity will be adequate for furniture storage. CLIN 0004 Shelving delivered. Located on existing mezzanine level above office area and adjacent to exterior overhead door. Consists of 68 bay openings. Each bay to be 48? wide x 24? deep x 72? high with 4 levels including top. CLIN 0005 Straddle Stacker delivered. Includes powered travel and lift, 110? lift height, 2500lb capacity, adjustable outriggers, onboard battery and charger. CLIN 0006 Installation of all equipment including anchors and forklift rental. These items are to be delivered and installed to Bldg 849, Maxwell AFB, AL, 36112, and delivery time is 60 days after receipt of order. Basis for award will be price and past performance. Offerors responding to this requirement must include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representation and Certification ?
