- The US Army Contracting Agency, Directorate of Contracting, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with Agilent Technologies Inc, 2850 Centerville Road, Wilmington DE , 19808-1610 for chromotographic eq uipment maintenance, service and consumables. Specifically, the government intends to purchase equipment maintenance, service and consumables as follows: (1) 35900E Dual Channel A/D Interface; (2) 5890A Split injector; (3) D8911A /HP 91 19 Color; (4) G109 9A /5973 turbo-pump; (5) G1311A /1100 Quaternary; (6) G1316A 1100 Series Column Heater; (7) G1330B 1100 Series thermostat; (8) G1379A 1100 Series Micro Degasser; (9) G1512A /7673 Board HP 7673 Autosampler; (10) G1513A /7673 Autoinjector tower module; (11) G1530A /6890 Plus GC system; (12) G1530N /6890N Network GC System;(13) G1701DA /MSD Productivity ChemStation Software; (14) G2170BA /HPLC ChemStation Software; (15) G2579A /5973 Mass Selective Detector; (16) G2613A /7683 Automatic liquid sampler; (17) G261 4A /7683 Autosampler tray module; (18) G2630A /6850 Series gas chromatograph system; (19) G2913A /7683B Autoinjector Module; (20) HWPD662UC HP Compaq D530 ; (21) HWPS627S HP Compaq D530 2.8 GHz SFF; (22) HWPT438US Compaq DC7100 SFF; and (23) TMR-8900 Velo city XPT Concentrator. The anticipated period of performance of October 1st, 2005 through May 31th, 2006. Agilent Technologies is the only firm that posseses the required certified engineers and maintenance technicians. Lastly, Agilent Technologies is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and maintains proprietary rights for the replacement parts and software for the chromotographic equipment. This award is subject to the availability of funds. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Agil ent Technologies Inc. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811219 and the size standard is $ 6.0 million dollars in average annual receipts over the last three years. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 12:00 Noon, Eastern Standard Time, August 29th, 2005. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers.
