Description

Volk Field Combat Readiness Training Center, 100 Independence Drive, Camp Douglas, WI 54618 intends to purchase from Motorola, Columbia, MD, on a sole source basis, for the following: Digital remote unit, PN L3223, 14 ea; digital junction box, PN L32 08, 3 ea; software, PN RVN4186, 1 ea; base unit, PN L20KSS9PW1 N, 1 ea. This requirement is intended to be sole sourced to Motorola to avoid connectivity issues, as they are the manufacturer and vendor of the radios currently in use at Volk Field CRTC. Th e North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. Any resultant contract shall be a firm fixed priced contract. Any firms believing that they can provide these or equal items may submit a written response with information about their product to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 0900 CST on 29 September 2005. The response must clearly show the capability of their item to communicate with the existing Motorola equipment without comp romising the quality, accuracy and reliability of the equipment and without causing hardship to the program.
