Description
This is an announcement only for the purpose of notifying industry of USACA, United States Military Academy's intent to award a sole source contract to Smith & Nephew, Inc. to upgrade an existing Image Management System for Orthopedics at the Keller Army Community Hospital, West Point, NY. There is no solicitation available and requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. The Army Contracting Agency, United States Military Academy, West Point, NY will award a contract to Smith & Nephew, Inc. on a sole source basis for the upgrade of an existing image management system. The existing system is a Smith & Nephew system and to allow competition would require the possible total replacement of the entire system which would not be cost effective . The upgrade is to include 2 ea. Bundle, 640 IMS & 15 inch touch panel; additional camera heads; wall mount brackets; double arm vertical mounts; and ccu, 3-chip, NTSC, 360. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334510, small business size standard is 500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
