Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the design and development of the next generation of the Medical Analysis Tool (MAT), transforming MAT Version 2.x from a static planning tool to a dynamic planning tool that can be used in all phases of m ilitary operations. This tool is to become Global Combat Support System (GCCS) based so Combatant Command (COCOM) Surgeons and their Service components can dynamically interact with force-flow deployment and sustainment in all phases of the deliberate and crisis planning process. MAT is the only Joint Staff approved automated tool with two overarching principal functions: determination of medical support requirements and course of action (COA) analysis. These fucntions provide planners and decision-makers the tool for allocating critical medical resources. This PWS emcompases the initial phase of a multi-year effort that will markedly expand the planning capability into all types of environments the military forces may face. Proposals are being requested for this Firm-Fixed Price Award Fee acquisition.
