Description

Furnish all labor, materials, plant, equipment, and supervision to design, manufacture, and install five digital excitation systems for the existing hydro generators at the Ozark Powerplant, Ozark/Webb City, Arkansas. The excitation systems control the voltage on 3-phase, 60 Hz, 13.8 kV, salient pole, inclined-axis synchronous generators with 115 percent overload capability. This acquisition is open to both large and small businesses. The NAICS code is 333611 with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. Solicitation and plans are viewable using FedTeds at the following link: https://www.fedteds.gov/fedteds/start.nsf/frm.vendorlogin?openform&SolicitationNumber=W9127S-05-R-0013 on the issue date. The solicitation will not be available in paper format; however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when determined to be in the best interest of the Government. All documents required for the offer submittal, including amendments to the offer submittal, shall be in paper medium. Electronic medium for submittal of offer will not be allowed. Solicitation will be available on or about September 27, 2005. Proposals will be due on or about October 28, 2005.
